Visa and Passport Information
- Visa Exemption: Citizens of the Republic of Turkey holding Ordinary (Bordeaux), Special (Green), Service (Gray), and Diplomatic (Black) passports are exempt from visas for stays up to 30 days in Uzbekistan. Therefore, those staying for less than 30 days do not need to obtain a visa.
- Passport Validity: Passports must be valid for at least six months beyond the planned departure date from Uzbekistan.
Residence Permit and Registration
- Temporary Residence Registration: Turkish citizens entering Uzbekistan must register their temporary residence within three days of arrival.
- Hotels: If staying in a hotel, the registration is automatically handled by the hotel.
- Private Accommodation: If staying in a private residence, visitors must personally register at the local police department for foreigners.
- Exit Requirement: This registration document may be requested by authorities upon departure from Uzbekistan.
Important Considerations
- Hotel Booking & Receipt: Keep the hotel receipt or accommodation confirmation, as authorities may check it when leaving the country.
- Travel Health Insurance: While not mandatory, having travel health insurance is recommended to cover any medical emergencies.
